The Semester Thus Far…

I could not be more excited to be in my final year as a Coe College Kohawk!  I cannot believe that I am already a senior in college!  It seems like just yesterday my parents were helping me move into Armstrong and I was meeting all my new friends for the first time.  However, with this excitement comes a lot of nervous feelings as well.  Most of the nerves are coming from the realization that I have to start looking for a big boy job and probably shouldn’t go back to working at Happy Joe’s (no matter how fun it was) like I had in high school.

Even with all these nerves running through my body, I seem to have made it through the first couple waves of tests so far this semester without completely going crazy.  It is so nice to be ahead of credits for graduation, because I am able to take only 3 classes this semester and still be on track to graduate in May.  Not having that extra class this semester has been a very nice break for the homework load.  This has also given me more time to work out and get some extra work in for baseball during the fall to help prepare for the upcoming season in the spring!

I have also been very busy meeting new prospective students in the admissions office as well as during different campus visit days.  So far I haven’t been stumped by any geography questions like last year, but I look forward to seeing who can come up with the next brain teaser!  All my tour groups thus far have been wonderful and I could not have asked for a better group of prospective students to show around the campus that I have been lucky enough to call home the last 3 years!

Until next time!
